A Little Moment of Magic with the Heidi Team
The morning after our CHCP Frailty Service team won Social Enterprise Innovation of the Year at the Social Enterprise Awards 2025, Andrew Noble(GP with extended role in Frailty), Christy Francis (Chief Operating Officer with CHCP) and I made a very special detour.
We’d promised the team at Heidi that if we won, we’d take the Award to their London office—and I’m so glad we did.
Their Ambient Voice AI Scribe platform was a core part of our Frailty service transformation, and it felt important to celebrate that innovation together.
Technology is never the whole story, but when the right tool meets the right team, real impact happens. This Award recognised exactly that.

It was also simply lovely to meet people in person rather than through a Teams window.
Despite being a little croaky from the celebrations, we had a brilliant time with Rags (Raghav Sharma - European Director) and the Heidi team, who were just as excited as we were. So many interested questions... and we got a great 'merch haul' too!
Moments like this are why I still share my AI experiences and reflections, even as I step back from formal consultancy. They’re part of my wider journey—helping teams navigate change, championing thoughtful technology, and celebrating the human connections that make innovation meaningful.
A small diary entry, perhaps, but a milestone worth marking.

This is part of a Short Series
This post is the second in a small series exploring the Heidi project from different angles — winning the Award, visiting the Heidi office, the case study and filming, and the leadership lessons that emerged along the way.
Each moment tells part of the story of how thoughtful, human-led innovation can ripple far beyond a single service.
Cheers, Sue x
