you have a website whats next FREE training in East Yorkshire by Susan Weeks VirtualityWorksOnline marketing, looking after your website and keeping safe online can seem daunting and technical and……’insert excuse here’….

BUT it doesn’t have to be like that! Typically  it is usually a question of not knowing where to start, or why you should start, or knowing what to do, or knowing who can really help you do what you want to do.  You don’t know what you don’t know, and with a high percentage of East Yorkshire businesses being classed as ‘micro businesses’ – sole traders, or companies with small numbers of employees – then finding the time and trusted local help to get you started with ‘all that online stuff’ can be very hard.

Well don’t worry because help is at hand.

In September 2016 I am excited to be running some informal talks and training sessions at 3 different East Yorkshire locations. The subject is ‘You Have A Website… What’s next – How to Look After It & How To Attract Visitors To It’

On Thursday 8th September 2016 I will be joining the ladies at the Bridlington & Wolds Women in Business group meeting at Bridlington Business Centre, 9:30 am until 11:30 am. I will be talking about basic online marketing ideas with plenty of examples to help everyone get inspired about how the internet and social media can be used to attract more ideal clients & customers, and to get ahead of local competitors. There will be plenty of time to ask questions & pick my brain!

On Wednesday 21st September 2016 (Aldborough Village Hall), & Thursday 15th September (Skipsea Village Hall)  10:00 am until 12.30, I will be presenting a 2 hour training session, on the same subject. It is very much an overview session, designed to help develop website confidence. Either the confidence to know what new skills you need to learn to do all this yourself. Or the confidence to know what you are talking about when finding someone to do it for you. This training is being delivered as part of the free local business training being provided under the Coastal Opportunities Gateway project from East Riding of Yorkshire Council.

I have also run similar sessions on content marketing, video marketing & basic SEO with the Women In Enterprise & Business group that I am an active participant of. We meet on the third Monday of the month at the Altisidora pub in Bishop Burton.

I will post more events I am involved with as they are scheduled.

Here is the Course Outline for more information. And please get in touch if you have any questions – Thanks!
